This sliding sash weather seal is an improvement on the more traditional fin and pile type. Firstly and most importantly this product can be painted, which is a major benefit if the window is required to be a colour that is neither brown or white.

This product can also help some companies achieve a higher level of thermal efficiencey. This is achieved by way of consistent compression along the whole length of the seal. The inner soft foam, with excellent memory, performs better than a fin and pile seal, which can buckle and deteriorate after time.
